Prior experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood or special education setting.An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (a High school diploma with years of related experience will be considered).Collaborate with faculty and team members to share strategies and resources, ensuring a cohesive approach to student support.Encourage independence and self-advocacy skills in the student, promoting their confidence and self-esteem.
Monitor and document the student's progress, behavior, and challenges, communicating effectively with the classroom teacher and education team.According to the teachers ' differentiated instruction, support the student in building necessary academic skills, such as early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social-emotional development and empowering the student to participate fully in classroom activities.Assist in the development and implementation of hands-on, play-based learning experiences and direct instruction that align with progressive educational principles.
